HOSA - Future Healthcare Professionals

HOSA is a national organization for any high school or college student that is interested in pursuing a career in a healthcare field. Students are given the opportunity to develop leadership through state and national competitions in various career oriented specialties.

HOSA provides students with opportunities for state and international competitions. There are over 40 competitive events to choose from including CPR and First Aid, Nursing, Forensic Medicine, Medical Photography, Physical therapy and many more. Students are able to  compete individually, with a partner or in a small group. 

There are also national college scholarship opportunities available exclusively for HOSA members. 

The mission of HOSA is: To enhance the delivery of compassionate, quality health care by providing opportunities for knowledge, skill and leadership development of all health science education students meet the needs of the healthcare community. HOSA focuses on group and individual achievement.

They meet Tuesday mornings at 7:45am.
