Genesis

Advisor: Brian Saylor, Choir Room

Genesis Jazz Choir is BHS newest addition beginning in 2013. They are an auditioned group made up of Freshman and Sophomores at BHS. Auditions are held in early to mid-September of each year. Rehearsals for the group are held before school 2 or 3 days per week. In their first year, the group performed in 2 concerts and attended the MacNally College of Music's Jazz Festival in March. Genesis also performed for the entire BHS student body for the first annual Academic Awards Ceremony in May.

Genesis meets Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7:15-8am
