Description of Club:
Esports club provides its members with opportunities to play video games (League of Legends & Rocket League) competitively against other high schools across the nation. Members of the Esports Club participate in weekly matches through PlayVS. Students will learn leadership and communication skills through competitive matchmaking.
Time Commitment:
Varies. League of Legends matches are scheduled for 4:00 pm on Tuesdays and typically run until around 5:45 pm. Rocket League matches are scheduled for 4:00 pm on Thursdays and typically run until around 5:00 pm. Practices are scheduled sporadically
Procedures for Joining:
There is an initial membership meeting before each season (Fall/Spring), but students are welcome to join at any time. Contact Mr. Paulson or stop in to the Technology Room (215) for joining information.
